Summary:
Based on a database of projects and experience of London based PV Market Transformation Initiative, this study shows that, although PV has become significantly less expensive over last decade, it still remains out of reach of rural households in the developing world. It concludes that carbon finance could appreciably accelerate the diffusion of solar home systems.
