Carbon Finance Event - November 13 & 14, 2006, Nairobi

The International Emissions Trading Association and the World Bank Carbon Finance Unit will be organizing an official parallel event during COP12 & COP/MOP2 on Monday, 13th November 2006 & Tuesday, 14th November 2006.

The objective of Carbon Finance Event is to create a knowledge platform to inform new entrants in the market and COP participants, update buyers, sellers and other stakeholders of the latest status and trends of the carbon market as well as to create a platform for project developers to exchange lessons learnt. At the same time, Carbon Finance Event will allow entities to showcase climate change mitigation solutions and specialized services offered.
