The BioCarbon Fund welcomes new Participants

WASHINGTON, March 21, 2005—Three Japanese companies have decided to join the BioCarbon Fund. They are Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd., a leading oil company; Sumitomo Joint Electric Power Co., a regional power producer and light industry manufacturer; and Sumitomo Chemicals, a producer of various chemicals and pharmaceuticals. These various developments will bring the Fund capital to $43.8 million.
